 Ms. Silvi Joshi has been very active social service volunteer for many years.  She started her community service in 2005 by joining Yala Rotaract club.  She has helped with many social service projects in Patan area, including   annual ‘Matya ‘celebration. She was also a co-editor and editor of the Rotaract Yala bulletin. 

She coordinated of FONNJ’s dictionary project in Nepal and distributed dictionaries to various schools in Nepal. 

Since she joined the program in December 1, 2011, she has completed several special projects in Nepal, including visiting and interviewing micro credit recipients in Dada gao, distribution of scholarship at the Nanada Ratri School, Goat distribution program and  working with Justice Sardha Shrestha on women empowerment project to develop a grant project, and a new scholarship program at the Bhanudaya High School in Sankhu.
